Grok Build

Grok Build is xAI's entry into the coding agent space: an open-source agent harness released in July 2026 that turns Grok models into a hands-off engineering teammate. It plans multi-step changes, edits files, runs commands, and iterates on failures — the now-standard agentic loop — but differentiates on interface: a fullscreen terminal UI with genuine mouse support (click to focus, select, and interact), which lowers the friction curve for developers who live in tmux-style environments.
