Beyond raw aggregation, TrendRadar applies AI to do the filtering and analysis work for you. It intelligently ranks and screens trending topics, supports precise keyword filtering so you only see the news you care about, delivers AI-translated and AI-summarized briefings straight to your phone, and exposes 13 MCP-based AI functions for natural-language querying — letting you ask questions about trends, run sentiment analysis, and get forward-looking insights conversationally. Smart alerts push to a wide range of channels including WeChat, Feishu, DingTalk, Telegram, email, ntfy, bark, and Slack. Operationally, TrendRadar is built for low-friction deployment: it can be up and running in about 30 seconds via GitHub Actions, runs in Docker, and lets you keep data locally or in the cloud.
