The Agent Client Protocol is an open protocol that lets Zed connect to external coding agents — Claude Agent, Codex, OpenCode, or any ACP-compatible tool. Unlike being locked to one provider, ACP lets you route to the best agent for each task.

What is Zeta?

Zeta is Zed's open-weight AI model for Edit Predictions. It predicts your next edit before you make it, running locally so your code does not leave your machine. This is different from cloud-based completion services.

How does pricing work?
